Cayman defeated T&T in a kicking competition after full time, when both sides were equal at 8-8 (try and penalty for each team).
In an enthralling match where neither team dominated, Cayman eventually came out on top winning the kicking competition 4-2. T&T opened the scoring through a Jamal Stewart try to take a 5-0 lead at half time. MVP for Cayman Alex Harvey pulled the scores back to 5-3 with a penalty only to see Agbullah Silverthorne touch down to give T&T an 8-3 lead. T&T held out until the dying seconds when Cayman wing Tom Mann scored in the corner to even the scores at 8-8. With seconds remaining Cayman needed only the conversion to win the match. Unfortunately Harvey pulled the ball wide and with no extra time allowed at U19 level, the match was decided by kicks at goal. Harvey made amends for his earlier miss as he kicked Cayman's 4th to give Cayman victory and the Caribbean Championship.
